Junior Dos Santos is predicting a second round knockout when he meets Cain Velasquez this weekend.

Dos Santos takes on Velasquez for the UFC heavyweight championship on Saturday, in a meeting between striker and wrestler. Both men have plenty more to their games, but when it comes down to it Dos Santos will be wanting to box, while Velasquez will be aiming to take the fight to the mat.

Five of Dos Santos' first seven UFC encounters ended inside the distance thanks to his lethal power, and the most recent two only went to a decision due to the exceptional chins of his opponent. Both Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin took fearful beatings as Dos Santos continued to win, and win big.

Asked for his thoughts on the Velasquez fight ahead of Saturday, the Brazilian confessed he will be attempting to sprawl and brawl - to employ a well-used phrase. And in a fight that can go five rounds, Dos Santos is convinced he gets the job done in two.

"Knockout in the second round and a beautiful belt to bring to Brazil," was Dos Santos' prediction in an interview with Fighters Only.

"I got faith, I ask everybody who is reading this report to have faith and send me positive energy. Positive thinking generates positive things. I worked hard, gave my best. I am prepared and want to show my best inside the Octagon.

"I believe that I will win this bout, even more if it stays standing. Everything can happen, we can't rule out any possibility but I believe, I got faith, I will win."
