Dangerman Palhares handed Massenzio at UFC 142

Rousimar Palhares, one of the UFC's most dangerous submissions exponents, will return to Brazil to fight Mike Massenzio at UFC 142.

The UFC confirmed the middleweight bout this week, handing Palhares the chance to record back-to-back victories on home soil following his win over Dan Miller at UFC 134. In all, Palhares has won five of his last six.

Massenzio represents a big middleweight following a spell in the 205lb division, and he marked his return to the lighter weight class with a decision win over Steve Cantwell. During his previous spell in the UFC, the Master of Disaster went 1-2 with defeats to CB Dollaway and Brian Stann.

UFC 142 is headlined by Jose Aldo's featherweight title defence against Chad Mendes and also features a middleweight bout between Anthony Johnson and Vitor Belfort.
