UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva has given the green light to a fight with Chael Sonnen - but only if it takes place in Brazil.

Earlier this month, UFC president Dana White said "Anderson will end up fighting Chael", yet failed to specify where or when the bout would take place. Silva is currently recovering from a shoulder injury.

"I don't like [Chael Sonnen]. This guy [wants to] fight me? Go to Brazil," Silva told MMANation.com. "No problem. Chael talks too much. I'm ready to fight Chael. But you have the chance - go to Brazil to fight me."

Sonnen, who lost via submission in the fifth round of a bout with Silva at UFC 117, has waged verbal warfare on the Brazilian in recent months.

After stopping Brian Stann in October, Sonnen said: "Anderson Silva, you absolutely suck. I'm calling you out, Silva, but I'm upping the stakes. I beat you and you leave the division. You beat me and I leave the UFC forever."
