Josh Koscheck is firmly in the Nick Diaz camp when he fights Georges St-Pierre for the welterweight title at UFC 143.

Koscheck fights on the same card against Carlos Condit, on a night when the 170lb hierarchy gets established.

Should St-Pierre beat Diaz and Condit beat Koscheck, Condit will finally get the title shot he previously had taken away from him. If St-Pierre wins and Koscheck wins, it is unlikely Koscheck will get another shot having already lost to the champion twice in the past.

However, if Diaz dethrones St-Pierre and Koscheck beats Condit, he sees no reason why he wouldn't be next in line for UFC gold.

"I like the Diaz kid. He brings something similar to what I bring to the table. He's not afraid to say what's on his mind," Koscheck said.

"Realistically, I think GSP is a strategist and GSP is probably gonna come out with a great game plan. That's where he can play it safe and get the victory.

"[But] I'd love to see Diaz win because when I beat Carlos Condit February 4, that means me and Diaz is for a title. And that means it's a big fight because he talks really good, and I believe I can talk up the fight really good."
