British bantamweight Vaughan Lee has been handed the chance to secure his first victory in the UFC against Norifumi Yamamoto in February.

Lee, who made his UFC debut on home soil at UFC 138 in Birmingham, will face a very different atmosphere when he takes on home favourite Yamamoto at UFC 144 in Japan.

Lee narrowly missed out on a debut win against Chris Cariaso, who claimed a hard-fought battle on a split decision.

The event at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan will also see another home favourite Takanori Gomi take on George Sotiropoulos. The card is headlined by a lightweight title fight between Frankie Edgar and Ben Henderson, with Rampage Jackson taking on Ryan Bader.
