Bisping tries to play down UFC on Fox 2 rumours

Michael Bisping attempted to rubbish rumours that broke overnight on Tuesday that he is about to announce his appearance on the UFC on Fox 2 card.

Bisping sparked interest when he tweeted that he was on a plane to Chicago, the location of UFC on Fox 2, which is scheduled for January 28. UFC president Dana White had already hinted in the aftermath of Bisping's win over Jason Miller that the Brit might feature on the card, and it has since been reported that the bout is confirmed.

However, asked why he was going to Chicago, Bisping replied on his Twitter account: "Hang out, eat, drink, party. Always go to a new city after a fight."

The middleweight was then asked if he was going to Chicago for a press conference, to which Bisping replied: "No, just on a mini vacation."

A third question then queried whether the UFC was about to announce his next fight, to which Bisping again replied: "No."
