Dana White has insisted Carlos Condit will be kept on ice until Georges St-Pierre is ready to resume his UFC career.

Condit claimed the interim welterweight title with a victory over Nick Diaz earlier in February, a victory that put him on collision course with St-Pierre.

St-Pierre, though, is not yet in any sort of shape to return after suffering a serious knee injury last year. With St-Pierre working on his rehabilitation it was suggested that Condit would keep active with a rematch against Diaz, but UFC president White has said that is a non-starter - with Diaz having recently tested positive for marijuana.

"We don't know when Georges is coming back yet," White told MMAjunkie.com on Tuesday. "But Carlos isn't going to fight another fight."

The Condit camp appear happy to be led by the UFC.

"Carlos is just sitting back and waiting for a call from the UFC," Condit's manager Malki Kawa said. "With Nick out, the title fight with Georges seems to make the most sense, and Carlos is excited for a chance to unify the titles.

"But we'll just wait to see what the UFC has planned and go from there."
