Pickett ready to bring Page's kryptonite

Damacio Page suffers from a form of MMA kryptonite in the bantamweight division, and Brad Pickett may just use it against him at UFC on Fuel 2 this weekend.
Page is an undoubted talent at 135lbs but he is susceptible to a guillotine. All three of his most recent losses have come via the choke, leaving him riding a 2-3 streak into Sweden from his last five outings.
It just so happens that Pickett's top submission is the guillotine, winning on four occasions via that means. The Brit insists he will not obsess about it on Saturday, but he will be ready to take advantage if Page hangs out his neck once more.
"I wouldn't target it, but I've got a very good guillotine," Pickett told ESPN. "If he gives me his neck I'll take it. It's my best submission. It's a very easy submission, but you get good ones and bad ones. I happen to have a very good one.
"You have to apply the right amount of pressure. Some people squeeze too hard and run out of steam, others don't squeeze hard enough. You also have to position yourself correctly. I won't look for it, but if he gives me it, it's over."
Pickett has become even more serious about his career since losing to Renan Barao at the end of last year. No longer does he take it easy between fight camps, revealing he has upped his intensity whilst training in England so that he can maximise his efforts when he heads to the American Top Team.
"I used to turn up to ATT and take a few sessions to get in shape," Pickett confessed. "Now I do a session and straight away look forward to the next - rather than going home and thinking, 'Man I'm all achy.'"
