Beaten featherweight Diego Nunes disagreed with the decision after he was narrowly defeated by Dennis Siver on Saturday.

Nunes and Siver put on an intriguing, if slightly underwhelming, featherweight battle in Sweden, battling to a decision after three rounds of fighting. When the scores were rendered, Siver claimed a unanimous 29-28 decision.

In three tight rounds the duo engaged almost exclusively in a kickboxing contest, with Siver seemingly landing the better combinations. When the pair clinched, Nunes found joy with his knees but the German regularly sent him packing with a hook or two for his troubles.

In Nunes' eyes, he was the more accurate striker during the contest, and he pointed to the heavy cut around Siver's left eye as evidence that he had done the greater damage.

"I think it is an unfair decision, take a look at Dennis's face," Nunes said. "The first round was definitely back and forth but I feel like I did more damage to Dennis."
