It's time for a British treble in Abu Dhabi - Etim

Terry Etim will bid to take a step closer to a UFC lightweight title shot when he faces Rafael Dos Anjos at UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi on April 10 - live on ESPN. Subscription details can be found here. Terry has provided a blog update for Espn.co.uk in the days leading up to the fight.
There are just 72 hours until my first experience on a UFC main card now, and I could not be feeling in better shape. We've been training outside so we're getting used to the Abu Dhabi conditions, making sure the heat isn't an issue when we fight in an open-air arena on Saturday.
I flew out with the team last Monday to acclimatise and get used to the heat. We've been training every night so I'm just used to it now. It shouldn't be a problem. I was expecting it to be hotter than it is, it's actually pretty chilled.
Me, Paul Kelly and Paul Taylor are all around the same weight which has been good, we all make sure nobody's having any cheats. Mind you, after the weigh-in there'll be a few packs of sweets being passed around!
The enemy
I bumped into my opponent Rafael for the first time on Tuesday. Very first time I've seen him. I didn't speak to him but I've got my eye on him. He got the quick acknowledgement from me and that's the way I prefer it. Saturday night we go to war so I've got nothing to say to him.
I've been working to the same game plan for a while now and, as always, I'm confident. We all know what his game plan is, he'll try and take me down and finish the fight there. There's no shocks there. But I'm very well prepared for what he'll bring.
If he takes it to the ground, I'm not fazed. But If I can keep it standing it's going to be a very very long night for him. If I have to go to the ground to win the fight I'm not bothered. Look at my last fight, everybody said Shannon Gugerty has to take it to the mat to win, but it was me who put him in a nice little sub. Don't be surprised to see that happen again.
In an ideal world I'd kick his head off. That's what I'm doing, I'm trying to knock him out.
Pride of Britain
As for my team-mate Paul Kelly, he's going to knock Matt Veach out. Veach will end up getting desperate, and I know 100 percent that Paul's about 100 times fitter than him. Veach won't be able to keep Paul on his back, so Paul will work back to his feet and knock him out. Second round, maybe even first.
Paul Taylor will make it three wins for our team and then we'll have a big night afterwards!
