Sonnen mocks 'obscure' Rampage's acting skills

Chael Sonnen has issued a typically amusing response to Rampage Jackson's latest criticisms, mocking the former UFC champ's acting career as the pair continue their war of words.
Jackson took a swipe at Sonnen after the American was handed what many regard as an undeserved title shot at light-heavyweight king Jon Jones. Rampage claimed Sonnen's mouth had talked him into a jackpot opportunity.
"His mouth gets him fights," Rampage recently told Inside MMA. "What's his name? How do you say his name? 'Chael?' His mouth gets his ass in trouble.
"The dude is exciting for like two minutes, but then you just want to turn down the volume, like, 'What the hell you talking about?' He sounds like he practices his stuff in the mirror, and then he goes out and says it. "
Sonnen has now responded by poking fun at Rampage's status as both a fighter and actor. The former champ lost to Ryan Bader last time out and Sonnen clearly has little respect for the faded champion.
"If I could understand a single word [Jackson] said about me I might be mildly offended," Sonnen said on Twitter.
"Hard to hear Rampage all the way from the bottom of his pit of obscurity. Ya know, I was wrong about your acting ability. Calling me out was your best performance yet."
Sonnen is expected to fight Jones in April next year, while Rampage appears to be heading for a bout with Glover Teixeira.
