The UFC has added another huge talent to the Wembley Arena card on February 16, with news that submissions expert Gunnar Nelson will return to the UK.

Nelson has been slated to fight Justin Edwards in London, as the Icelander attempts to continue his rise to prominence in the UFC welterweight division.

The 24-year-old made his UFC debut on English soil, submitting DaMarques Johnson inside the first round. That took his run of consecutive submissions to five.

Nelson will go in search of a sixth against Edwards, who is coming off a Submission of the Night victory of his own against Josh Neer. Edwards won with a guillotine in October and will hope for a better outcome than his last visit to the UK, when he was beaten by John Maguire.

All eyes will be on Nelson, though, who has been dubbed "the new BJ Penn". Known for his ice-cool persona, it is anticipated that Nelson will soon be rubbing shoulders with the top names in the 170lbs division.

The February card is headlined by Renan Barao's interim bantamweight title defence against Michael McDonald.
