The UFC has announced Dennis Siver v Cub Swanson as the co-main event for the February 16 card in London.

Staged at London's Wembley Arena, the event is headlined by an interim bantamweight title showdown between Renan Barao and Michael McDonald.

Now the co-main event has been revealed, with the 145-pounders getting their own showcase as Siver and Swanson battle for title contention in the featherweight division.

Siver was magnificent in Seattle on Saturday, producing arguably the performance of his career to dominate Nam Phan in a lop-sided unanimous decision. He is still settling at the 145lb weight class and looking a real powerhouse.

Siver's recent record boasts six wins from his last seven fights, and he is 2-0 as a featherweight.

Swanson also rides a wave of momentum into the bout, having won his last three. Victims include Charles Oliveira and England's own Ross Pearson.

The winner of the February match-up can expect to move extremely close to a title shot against Jose Aldo in the 145 weight class.
