UFC president Dana White has confessed he would be open to putting on a third bout between Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos.

Velasquez avenged an earlier 64-second loss to Dos Santos by dominating him for five rounds at UFC 155. The Mexican American regained the heavyweight belt in the process.

Such was the lop-sided nature of the win that it might be expected that the UFC would keep the pair apart for a while, particularly with the likes of Alistair Overeem ready to challenge for the belt.

However, one big right hand from Velasquez had a huge impact on the rest of the contest - with Dos Santos successfully stuffing takedowns until that moment, and White admits a rematch is tempting.

"When I walked out of the ring everyone was screaming at me for a rematch. It could happen," White said.

The president also revealed Dos Santos suffered a suspected broken jaw in the second round, following yet another Velasquez assault.

"You saw how tough and how much heart Dos Santos has," White said. "From what I am hearing his jaw was broken in the second round and he kept going on, he is tough."
