Bisping & Belfort keep cool at Sao Paulo weigh-ins

Michael Bisping and Vitor Belfort kept their emotions under control as the UFC on FX 7 weigh-ins passed without a hitch on Friday.

The middleweight pair had exchanged an explosive staredown at Thursday's press conference, after which Bisping let rip at his rival, questioning whether "roid rage" would occur at Friday's weigh-in.

Both men did exchange words at the staredown but neither became physical, with the Brit weighing a pound heavier than his opponent.

"In my soul, I'm so ready," Belfort said. "I'm just roaring in my lion. I'm not disrespecting him at all, and today I got a message. This message is powerful. The Lord, Jesus, declared that I am victory, and not a victim. That's important to know. So I am ready for whatever he brings to the table."

Bisping made no apology for his recent verbal attack on Belfort, saying: "There's no tactic in anything I do, to be honest. I just speak my mind, I tell the truth, and I have belief in myself. I'm going to win this fight. I'm ready to take him out in the first round or the fifth round. It doesn't really matter to me."
