Georges St-Pierre had to deal with a heckling fan at Wednesday's UFC 158 press conference, where Nick Diaz this time turned up for his welterweight title showdown duties.

St-Pierre delivered his usual pre-fight answers regarding Diaz, claiming the former Strikeforce champion will "push me to the limit" and "bring out the best of me".

However, when the UFC opened up questions to the floor - where fans could quiz the fighters - one fan asked GSP if he was going to try and knock Diaz out, or "do the minimum".

St-Pierre responded: "You should step into the Octagon and try it", before president Dana White added: "What a d*ck."

Intriguingly, St-Pierre elaborated on why he felt Diaz was a better fight than contender Johny Hendricks, revealing he felt Hendricks should have been handed a defeat when he picked up a split decision win over Josh Koscheck in May 2012.

"My other option was Johny Hendricks and Johny Hendricks when I watched the fight with Josh Koscheck, according to me Josh Koscheck should have won that fight, so I didn't want to fight a guy that lost to a guy I beat," St-Pierre said.

"I think for me Nick Diaz is the No. 1 contender, he's proven himself many times before, and there is a story between us, it's a big fight everybody wants to see. Nick wanted to have that fight for a long time, I wanted to have that fight for a long time, now it's time to do it."

Typically Diaz was a man of few words, but he did offer a little insight into why he believes he can beat St-Pierre. Diaz said he has been preparing for one of GSP's old rivals, Matt Hughes, since he was 18 years old, but St-Pierre got to him first.
