Injured Hardy ruled out of Brown clash

Dan Hardy has been forced out of his clash with Matt Brown at UFC on FOX 7 on account of injury.

'The Outlaw' has gone some way to rebuilding his UFC career following four straight losses with wins over Duane Ludwig and Amir Sadollah but his climb back up the ladder has been placed on hold by injury.

The UFC revealed an injury in training has sidelined Hardy and confirmed Jordan Mein will fill in against Brown.

Mein is on a three-fight winning streak and made his UFC debut last weekend at UFC 158m beating Dan Miller.

UFC on FOX 7 will take place on April 20 in San Jose.
