Pearson does not break foot

Ross Pearson has not suffered a broken foot after picking up the injury before his bout at UFC Sweden.

Pearson had kicked a pad whilst warming up in his dressing room, and believing he had broken it still went out to fight and beat Ryan Couture with a TKO finish on Saturday.

The Brit revealed after the fight the pain he battled through, believing he had broken his foot, but X-Rays eased his fears as it was only damaged.

"Thank U everyone for support! Docs said not broken! Crazy night," Pearson said on Twitter.

UFC president Dana White at the time praised Pearson for going ahead with the fight despite the injury, saying: "He breaks his foot in the back, doesn't tell anybody, goes out and fights and ends up knocking out Ryan Couture. So, much respect to him."
