Brock Lesnar has confessed he will use season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter as a stepping stone to getting his heavyweight title back, and he warned he is not about to start any mind games with Junior Dos Santos.

Lesnar has accepted the role of rival coach to Dos Santos, on a reality show that traditionally sees both coaches develop a deeply-ingrained hatred for one another.

The former UFC heavyweight champion has not been shy of controversy in the past, once earning widespread criticism for a bad-taste gesture in the aftermath of his victory over Frank Mir, but he insists he is not interested in any mind games with Dos Santos.

"It's an opportunity for me to help these kids, but it's also an opportunity for me to get my title back," said Lesnar. "Junior Dos Santos is a road block in my way to getting my title back. That's it. I haven't got any beef with Junior, he's a nice kid, but he's in my way.

"I'm not here to stir any s*** up, I don't do that. I'm not a mind-f****r, I'm an ass-kicker. I'm not too much into mind games.

"When I beat Dos Santos, I'll get a rematch with [Cain] Velasquez and I'll get my f****** belt back. That's the way I look at this."

Lesnar claims it was only a "matter of inches" that separated himself and Velasquez at UFC 121, and he refutes claims that he is not experienced enough to coach a new generation of fighters, having had just seven MMA bouts in his own career.

"I was the UFC heavyweight champion. What other qualifications do you need?" he bullishly queried. "You guys can sit there and discredit me, but in my mind, I've got just as many fights as Junior. I've got a great coaching staff (Marty Morgan, Erik Paulson, Greg Nelson and Rodrigo Medeiros), guys that have been coaching top fighters and wrestlers.

"I've been competing my whole life. I think we're well capable of coaching underqualified guys to become the next Ultimate Fighter. I've got faith in my people. These guys made me a champion. Why can't we make these young, eager kids successful? I think we can.

"These kids haven't got a quarter of the background that me and my team have got. So if we can't teach them something, there's something wrong."
