Michael Bisping wants to be back in the ring as soon as June of this year after he disposes of Jorge Rivera this weekend.
Bisping has always targeted at least three fights per year since entering the UFC, and 2011 will be no different as he attempts to book himself a middleweight title shot.
In an ideal world, the Briton wants to be fighting for UFC gold in the final two months of the calendar year, meaning he must first beat Rivera on Saturday before successfully negotiating a title eliminator, likely to be against Yushin Okami, Brian Stann or Chael Sonnen.
That schedule would give Bisping three months to prepare for a potential June bout, and the Wolf's Lair man admits he would be willing to fight anywhere.
"It's up to the UFC, I'm not sure what's on the cards after this, you obviously don't look past your current opponent," Bisping told ESPN when asked if he wants his next bout to take place in England.
"I'd probably like to fight around June or July, I'd like to keep busy, that gives me plenty of time. That'd be ideal."
