Briton James Wilks off Fight Night 24 card

British welterweight James Wilks is off the UFC Fight Night 24 card due to injury.
Wilks had been set for an intriguing collision with TUF 7 winner Amir Sadollah, in an encounter that would have featured two willing grapplers. However, the California-based Brit will now have to wait for the chance to get back in the winner's column after losing to Claude Patrick at UFC 120.
DaMarques Johnson becomes the third opponent to be slated alongside Sadollah, after Duane Ludwig was initially replaced by Wilks. Johnson was a TUF 9 finalist and has three wins in his last four, although he is likely to give away a striking advantage to the sharper boxing skills of Sadollah.
The UFC Fight Night 24 card is headlined by the light-heavyweight showdown between Phil Davis and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Dan Hardy and Anthony Johnson form the co-main event, while John Hathaway takes on Kris McCray.
