Zombie meets Garcia in rematch of 'Fight of the Decade'
A rematch of one of the greatest ever MMA contests will take place at UFC Fight Night 24 after The Korean Zombie Chan Sung Jung agreed to fight Leonard Garcia in Seattle.
The Zombie gets his chance courtesy of an injury to Nam Phan, who had to pull out of the March 26 event due to a broken foot.
Garcia faced Jung back in April 2010 under the WEC banner, and the two featherweights could not keep their chins off each others' fists in a three-round war. The pair were awarded the Fight of the Year accolade for 2010, with commentator Joe Rogan labelling it "the Fight of the Decade".
Adding extra spice is the controversy that surrounded the decision, given to Garcia even though many felt the Zombie had won, so revenge is on the cards later this month.
"Nam Phan is injured so The Korean Zombie Chan Sung Jung has agreed to step up against Leonard Garcia and attempt to avenge a controversial decision in what was one of the greatest all-time slugfests," said UFC president Dana White.
