Dana White has seemingly rubber-stamped the end of Mirko Cro Cop's UFC career, admitting the Croatian has fought his last fight after being knocked out by Brendan Schaub.

Cro Cop actually put up a good performance against Schaub, battling against a clear size inferiority to go into the third round on level terms. Schaub's nose was busted and he had a point deducted for an illegal strike, but Cro Cop could not finish the bout.

Instead it was Schaub who knocked out the legendary kickboxer, delivering Cro Cop's second big knockout defeat in succession following his loss to Frank Mir. Now UFC president White says it is time for Cro Cop to become an ambassador for the sport of MMA.

"I don't think I'd have an argument from Cro Cop," he said.

"I was talking tonight about how tough Mirko Cro Cop is," White said. "At his age and with the wars he's been in, to see how he gets in there with these heavyweights now that are bigger, stronger and younger than he is - and he still holds his own - it's a testament to what a great fighter that guy was in his prime.

"I have all respect for Mirko 'Cro Cop,' but yeah, I'd have to say tonight is probably the last time we'll see Cro Cop fight again."
