Jones damages hand in championship triumph
Jon Jones became the youngest world champion in UFC history on Saturday, and he did so with a damaged hand.
The new light-heavyweight champion produced one of the all-time great Octagon performances to destroy Mauricio Shogun Rua via TKO in the third round. He will now face Rashad Evans.
However, Jones is now suspended indefinitely due to a damaged right hand, and he will undergo a scan to check for any fractures or ligament damage.
Shogun is also suspended for at least two months, pending a CT scan after he came under a heavy barrage of strikes to the head at UFC 128.

Jon Jones: Suspended indefinitely pending X-ray, MRI and orthopedic clearance of right hand
