Brock Lesnar insists the thought of retirement has not even entered his head, despite his humbling loss to Cain Velasquez at UFC 121.

Lesnar rose to fame as a WWE wrestler, and defeat to Velasquez sparked speculation he will return to the entertainment business in the near future.

However, Lesnar is a man driven by the will to succeed, and his entire focus on getting back to a rematch with Velasquez, with TUF 13 rival Junior dos Santos blocking his path to that fight. As for retirement, the giant heavyweight insists it is not an option.

Asked if he thought about quitting in the aftermath of his TKO loss, Lesnar told Sportscenter."I haven't yet. When I can wake up and look in the mirror, if I'm feeling it in here (pointing at his heart) still, this is my home. In the Octagon is where I feel 'this is where I'm meant to be'.

"I'm happy doing what I'm doing, and that's being an ultimate fighter."

Pressed on the possibility of a return to the WWE, Lesnar added: "I'll never say never, when my stint in the UFC is over, there's a possibility. But folks, it ain't happening anytime soon, that's for sure."
