The UFC has revealed Jorge Rivera will fight Alessio Sakara at UFC 133.

Rivera is coming off his controversial loss to Michael Bisping, when the American suffered an illegal knee to the head during the opening round. He eventually fought on after a medical timeout, losing via second-round TKO to the Briton.

El Conquistador attracted plenty of fans with his mocking videos of Bisping in the build-up to that fight, but it is unlikely that he will employ similar pre-fight tactics with Sakara.

The pair have twice been slated to fight each other in the past, only to be derailed by injury, but they are the first bout announced for UFC 133.

"Better late than never, verbal agreements are in for what should be an action-packed match between Alessio Sakara and Jorge Rivera at UFC 133," said UFC president Dana White on Tuesday.

The headline bout for UFC 133 will be announced in the near future.
