Franklin to face Nogueira at UFC 133

Rich Franklin's next fight in the Octagon will come at UFC 133 against light-heavyweight dangerman Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

Franklin is coming off a decision loss to Forrest Griffin at UFC 126, prior to which he beat Chuck Liddell via knockout.

Nogueira is also hoping to bounce back from defeat, against Phil Davis, although he arguably looked better than in any of his past UFC outings in that encounter.

The UFC confirmed the fight on Friday, along with a welterweight bout between Brian Ebersole and Dennis Hallman.

UFC 133 already boasts a middleweight collision between Vitor Belfort and Yoshihiro Akiyama.
