Kampmann faces Doomsday Howard at UFC Live

Martin Kampmann's reward for his memorable barnburner with Diego Sanchez is another explosive welterweight battle with John Howard at UFC Live.

Kampmann was controversially handed a decision loss against Sanchez in March, but his performance was so outstanding that UFC president Dana White handed him a $160,000 bonus.

Now the Dane can erase his frustrations against Doomsday Howard, who is coming off back-to-back losses to Jake Ellenberger and Thiago Alves.

White confirmed the June 26th bout, stating on the UFC's official website: "Verbal agreements are in for a battle between two of the best strikers in the welterweight division as John Doomsday Howard takes on Martin The Hitman Kampmann."

UFC Live takes place in Pittsburgh, and will feature Pat Barry v Cheick Kongo, Curt Warburton v Joe Lauzon, and Joe Stevenson v Javier Vasquez.
