Jose Aldo has been tipped to "run through" Mark Hominick in Saturday's main event at UFC 129.

Aldo makes the first defence of his UFC featherweight title this weekend, and the 24-year-old is widely tipped to establish himself as one of the most formidable forces in the UFC.

Standing opposite the Brazilian will be home favourite Hominick, who has ruled the Canadian kickboxing scene for years. The record Toronto crowd will be supporting the challenger, who carries one-punch knockout power.

However, Diego Nunes, who trains with Aldo, insists there is not an area of the fight game in which his colleague will be beaten this weekend.

"Aldo will run through Hominick, he's much more complete, both standing-up and on the floor," Nunes told Tatame.

"If he takes Aldo down, Hominick will be killed. You'll see it, Hominick will be turned upside down. Junior is very strong, he'll surprise."

Nunes is heading for his own high profile showdown with Kenny Florian on June 11, and Florian has been told he will get a title shot if he overcomes the Brazilian.
