Stann confirms rapid return to the Octagon

Brian Stann has been given the all-clear to return to training following his victory over Jorge Santiago.
Stann stopped Santiago via TKO in the Fight of the Night at UFC 130, further adding to his middleweight title credentials. Santiago was dropped in both rounds, with Stann displaying fierce striking power in the pocket.
The American is fast becoming a fans' favourite and moving towards a title shot, with rumours that his next opponent will be the winner of Demian Maia v Mark Munoz.
However, an injury to his right thumb, suffered in the Santiago fight, threatened to keep Stann sidelined until the end of November.
His medical suspension read: "Must have right thumb X-rayed, and if injured, suspended until Nov. 25, though he can be cleared by an orthopaedic doctor; regardless, suspended until June 28 with no contact until June 19."
Fears of a lengthy layoff were doused by Stann at the time of the suspension, and now he has confirmed on Twitter: "No fracture! Back training next week!"
