Velasquez to fight Dos Santos in San Jose on Nov 19

Cain Velasquez will make the much-anticipated first defence of his heavyweight title against Junior Dos Santos in November.

According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, the American will return to action after over a year out following shoulder surgery.

Zuffa chairman Lorenzo Fertitta has reportedly confirmed that Velasquez will take on Dos Santos at the HP Pavilion in San Jose on November 19.

Velasquez underwent surgery on a torn rotator cuff after wrenching the heavyweight belt from Brock Lesnar last October.

Dos Santos, who has won his last eight fights, battered Shane Carwin at UFC 131 to earn the right to challenge for the belt.
