Grant v Brenneman scrapped from UFC Live

TJ Grant's participation in Sunday's UFC Live event has proved to be cursed after he was ruled out on Wednesday due to illness.

Grant had originally been scheduled to face Matt Riddle in Pittsburgh, but an injury forced Riddle from the card.

As a result, Charlie Brenneman stepped in as a replacement, but now Grant is ruled out by illness.

With only three days left to find a replacement, the UFC has taken the decision to scrap the bout, meaning UFC Live will go ahead with 11 fights this weekend.

Brenneman had won two of his last three fights, while Grant was coming off a loss to Ricardo Almeida.
