Jon Jones wants heavyweight title, but not right now

Jon Jones has confessed he sees no greater honour in the sport of MMA than becoming heavyweight champion, but he has doused suggestions that his body will dictate a swift departure from the 205lb division.
Jones has only just become light-heavyweight king, dominating Mauricio Shogun Rua for a third-round TKO victory. His first defence will come against Rampage Jackson at UFC 135, and he will almost certainly then have to fight Rashad Evans and Lyoto Machida.
However, even at the age of 23 it is being suggested that Jones could trouble any of the UFC's top heavyweights, such is his impressive power and skill set, allied to a 6ft 4in frame.
Jones admits the heavyweight title is the most prestigious, stating: "I think personally it would be cool to be considered a heavyweight champion of the world. I think it doesn't get much better than that."
It is the youngster's huge frame, boasting an 84in reach, that leads to suggestions that he soon won't be able to continue cutting to the 205lb limit. That theory, it seems, lacks substance as Jones explains his new dietary setup.
"I'm totally fine with being the light-heavyweight champion," he told SBNation. "I'm 23 and have lots of years to mature as an athlete and in my physique.
"I'm also getting smarter with the decisions I make. I have a really good nutritionist that's been helping me. Her name's Kelly Keegan. She's designing all my diets and all the fitness things I do. The type of workouts that I'm doing. She gives my girlfriend consistent, new recipes and tricks on what can make me perform and look my best. That's making it a lot easier for me.
"My last two fights, the [Ryan] Bader fight and the Shogun fight, I felt extremely powerful. So yeah, everything is working out and I'm making it easier on myself."
