Wanderlei Silva sounds like he is very much in the mood to do damage at UFC 132 this weekend.

The Axe Murderer meets the Crippler as Wanderlei takes on Chris Leben in a middleweight match-up that will surely provide a knockout.

Silva has won 23 of his 33 victories via knockout, and in his prime he was one of the most lethal Muay Thai practitioners ever witnessed in MMA.

Leben has also chalked up over half of his wins via KO or TKO, swinging that huge left hand that has accounted for the likes of Alessio Sakara, Terry Martin and Jorge Rivera.

The winner will walk away with the honour of being known as one of the most dangerous men in the 185lb division, and Wanderlei, who has not fought for 16 months, appears to have his animal sense back.

"Thanks so much for all your support," he tweeted on Monday.

"Saturday I want to see blood, but i hope that is not mine."
