Chris Leben v Wanderlei Silva

Chris Leben believes he will be fighting his mirror image at UFC 132 next weekend, and he has promised the Las Vegas crowd an exciting fight.

Leben, nicknamed the Crippler, takes on Wanderlei Silva, dubbed the Axe Murderer, in a toe-to-toe middleweight war. Neither man takes a backward step, and a knockout seems inevitable.

It will be southpaw v orthodox as Leben swings his big left hand, while Wanderlei is sure to advance with his trademark windmill-like action.

The winner is guaranteed a big fight at 185lbs, potentially against Vitor Belfort, who fights Yoshihiro Akiyama in the near future, and Leben insists this is one of the most important moments of his career.

"I've been wanting to fight Wanderlei for a long time," Leben said. "Wanderlei is one of my heroes, he's a legend, he's the one who beat all your idols.

"He's a real fighter and he knocks guys out. From bell one to the finish of the fight, he's slugging, brawling, banging.

"That's the same as me, I'm slugging, banging, punching.

"You're gonna get an exciting fight. Neither of us will come in half-arsed, there is no fan who won't want to see this fight."
