The UFC 134 fight card in Rio has been tinkered after Dan Miller stepped in to fight Rousimar Palhares.

Palhares had been lined up for a grudge match with former team-mate Alexandre Ferreira, but injury has forced him off the card.

Miller has a reputation for stepping in on short notice, and he has come to the UFC's aid again to form an intriguing middleweight battle.

The American has lost to Michael Bisping and Nate Marquardt in recent times, but wins over Joe Doerksen and John Salter means he has a 2-1 record in his last three fights.

Palhares has also been beaten by Marquardt, but he has won four of his last five and is known to have one of the most lethal heel hooks in the business.
