Magners League Side Newport Gwent Dragons have been boosted by the news that lock Adam Jones and scrum-half Wayne Evans have signed new contracts with the club.

Jones won two Wales caps against England and Scotland in 2006 and has committed a further two years to the Rodney Parade outfit, while Evans has signed for a further year. Both players made their debut for the Dragons against the Scarlets at Stradey Park in 2007 and have since racked up over 70 appearances for the club between them.

"It is great for the squad that Adam and Wayne will be staying with us," Dragons head coach Paul Turner said. "They have both been great servants to the region since their arrival and, over the last two years, have become key members of the squad"
