Williams development still strong - Pujolar

Williams chief race engineer Xevi Pujolar says the team is continuing with its strong development of the FW35.

After a promising pre-season, Williams was disappointed by the lack of competitiveness with the new car in the early rounds. However, in Hungary the team made a step forward and after a poor qualifying session Pastor Maldonado recovered to score the first points for Williams this season.

Buoyed by that progress, Pujolar told ESPN that development will not stop in order to focus on 2014 and that there would be upgrades visible over the next three races as the team goes in search of more points.

"We are still pushing, still developing this car," Pujolar said. "We had some new parts [in Hungary] and then in Spa and Monza it's different packages, but for Singapore we will still be pushing and trying to bring more parts to the car because we want to improve and we want to get closer to the top ten."
