Bottas happy after day of 'zero problems' for Williams

Valtteri Bottas says what appeared to be a solid but unspectacular day of testing was another valuable one for Williams as he continued to see the potential of the FW37.
Bottas completed 61 laps and ended up third on the timesheets on Monday, his second consecutive day behind the wheel of Williams' 2015 challenger. Four of his rivals accumulated more miles but Bottas feels happy with what he learnt about the car.
"A good day again, zero problems with the car and a good feeling," Bottas replied when asked how his day went. "We did some aero runs in the morning because it was really cold and the track was not in a good condition for any other test. We did all the aero tests we missed yesterday morning and got through that programme with all the measurement regs etc.
"It was a little bit better today because we are learning more and more. We are going forward but we still have a long time to go. I still keep positive because the base of the car is quite good and it's good to start on it now." Bottas admits running was curtailed by a late shower on Monday afternoon."
When asked why Williams did not emerge for the final half hour for a wet run, Bottas said: "We didn't because we had a test to do which was not really good to do in the wet. In the afternoon [before the rain] we did little bit longer runs, just learning about the car and trying different set-ups and going through the programme. The rain disturbed it a little bit in the end but that's the same for everyone."
