'We were not good enough' - Vettel

Sebastian Vettel said Red Bull simply was not good enough at the Bahrain Grand Prix after he finished sixth in Sunday's race.
Vettel complained of a lack of power towards the end of the grand prix and was passed by team-mate Daniel Ricciardo, who went on to finish fourth. One week after scoring a podium in Malaysia, he admitted the car simply was not capable of finishing higher.
"It's a shame we couldn't get further up because Daniel proved there was a little bit more to get," he said. "I couldn't really get to that bit so I'm not happy with my day.
"For some reason we seem to be very slow down the straights, and not just against the Mercs. We pushed hard … but obviously we were not good enough today."
Vettel said he did not want to risk too much while fighting with Ricciardo for position.
"It was very straightforward. I tried to defend but we were side-by-side and there wasn't much that I could do. Obviously against your team-mate you don't try to do something stupid either. We work well together as a team but we should be higher up."
