Nico Rosberg will take a five-place grid penalty following qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix due to a gearbox change.

Rosberg stopped on track having only completed five laps of the morning FP3 session, suffering from a loss of drive when he upshifted in to sixth gear approaching Pouhon. Following the session it was confirmed that Rosberg would have to take a new gearbox ahead of qualifying, resulting in the penalty.

The penalty is double punishment for Rosberg, who missed out on a lot of important running during final practice which was the only dry practice session of the weekend following Friday's washout.

Mark Webber also has a five-place grid penalty for a gearbox change.
