Pacquiao camp clash over next fight

Manny Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach and promoter Bob Arum are at loggerheads over who the Filipino will fight next.
Arum believes Pacquiao should face Juan Manuel Marquez again after their most recent meeting, which took place last weekend, ended with Pacquiao claiming a tight, and widely disputed, points decision. That was the third meeting between the pair, and the third time Marquez left the ring claiming he had been robbed by the judges.
Roach, meanwhile, seems to prefer a meeting with Floyd Mayweather Jnr, the WBC welterweight champion. Prior to the Marquez bout, Pacquiao looked destined to meet Mayweather on May 5 - however, the landscape is now murkier.
Speaking to philboxing.com, Roach said: "He [Floyd] has already expressed his willingness. We will not be pursuing him as we've been doing the past few years. If we can get him, we should take him. Bob, obviously, wants Marquez on the strength of the closeness of the last fight. He has to talk with Manny and ask him who he prefers to face next."
Alex Ariza, Pacquiao's strength and conditioning coach, added to fighthype.com: "It's like Freddie says, Manny has to push [what he wants] and if Bob says he doesn't care what Freddie said, well, he should care because it's Freddie's fighter and Freddie knows what his fighter wants: Mayweather."
Just a few weeks ago, prior to the Marquez controversy and Mayweather saying he wants Pacquiao in May, WBO light-welterweight champion Timothy Bradley appeared the most likely opponent for Pacquiao. However, he has now plummeted to the back of the queue.
