- Amir Khan v Lamont Peterson
Khan predicting classic rematch

Amir Khan is predicting a fight of year contender if he can reach an agreement on a rematch with Lamont Peterson.
Khan lost his light-welterweight belts in controversial fashion to Peterson. He was beaten on a majority verdict having had two points deducted during the fight. The Brit claims he was the victim of a home-town decision in Washington, but does not hold any grudge against his opponent.
"Those who watched the fight know that it wasn't fair," Khan told Sky Sports News upon his return to Britain. "He was the home fighter. That's one of the reasons they have not had a big fight in DC for a long time. I think it must have been about 15 years since they had a big fight in DC and I don't think they will have another fight for the next 15 years.
"It is not Lamont Peterson's fault, it was a good fight. It is the referee and judges I blame. We were both winners because we put on good performances. I think the fight was that good that it will be one of the fights of the year again."
The Olympic silver medalist's advisors are attempting to thrash out a deal for a rematch and Khan will step away from the talks in a bid to recharge his batteries.
He said: "I am going to take a couple of weeks now to relax. I want a rematch, I think that's what the public want. I just want to have a fair fight with him. I think I was robbed."
