Manny Pacquiao's press conference to promote his June 9 clash with Timothy Bradley was, unsurprisingly, overshadowed by talk of Floyd Mayweather Jnr.

Whilst relations between Pacquiao and Bradley were warm, with Pacquiao bursting into laughter during their face-off, the atmosphere became frostier when Mayweather was mentioned.

The unbeaten American and Pacquiao have been involved in a war of words of late, both accusing the other of not having any interest in a bout following the collapse of negotiations - and the animosity shows no sign of cooling down.

"It's nice to be fighting a fighter who is undefeated and not worried about losing that zero on his record," said Freddie Roach, Pacquiao's trainer.

When conversation turned to his retirement plans, Pacquiao offered a hint that hopes of the super-fight happening had not disappeared entirely. "My kids [say]: 'Dad, I want you to retire, but before, you have to fight Mayweather and beat him,'" he said.

In contrast, Bradley described Pacquiao as "probably the best fighter in the history of boxing."
