Manny Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum admits he is concerned by the Filipino's recent comments ahead of his June battle with Timothy Bradley.

WBO welterweight champion Pacquiao said earlier this week that he "will not stay long in boxing" having been given a message from God in a dream, which urged him to retire.

"I am worried a bit because these are the things you don't say when preparing for a fight," Arum said to the Manila Bulletin. "He will retire in 2013."

The promoter's remarks are on a similar theme to those made by trainer Freddie Roach after Pacquiao's victory over Juan Manuel Marquez last year. Following Pacquiao's too-close-for-comfort win, Roach revealed he felt that Pacquiao had been distracted during his preparations.

Arum is understood to have planned at least three more bouts for Pacquiao before he does hang up his gloves: a fourth battle with Marquez appears likely, while fans worldwide will hope to finally see Floyd Mayweather Jnr and Pacquiao do battle for the title of pound-for-pound king.
