Floyd Mayweather Jnr is considering the prospect of letting rapper and best friend 50 Cent box on one of his undercards in the future.

Mayweather and 50 Cent have formed a close bond, and the performing artist has been a regular presence in and around the Mayweather camp ahead of his recent fights.

And Mayweather, who meets Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas for the WBA light-middleweight title on May 5, could offer 50 Cent the opportunity for some in-ring action.

"With boxing, I think he's going to be involved on the promotion side, [but] we may even put him there let him fight on pay-per-view one time," Mayweather said.

Looking to his future, Mayweather - who has talk of a clash with Manny Pacquiao following him around - has revealed he intends to have five more contests following the meeting with Cotto.

"Of course I want to give you guys more than just a few more fights. I want to, this fight plus five more if I can," he said.
