Brook: Don't make plans, Devon

Kell Brook is keen to make Devon Alexander pay for his apparent complacency ahead of their IBF welterweight title bout.

Reigning champion Alexander's trainer has invited Shane Mosley to sit ringside on February 23 in a bid to entice the 41-year-old veteran into the ring himself at a later date.

"Why not Shane? We would love to oblige Shane with a shot at Devon's IBF title," Cunningham told RingTV.

"We would like to extend an invitation to Shane to come on out to Detroit on February 23rd and to sit at ringside for our fight."

But Brook was quick to remind Kevin Cunningham that his charge will no longer have the belt to fight for should the Sheffield native have his way in Detroit.

"It is great for me that they are being so complacent," Brook told The Star. "They are living in cloud cuckoo land. There won't be any other defence for Alexander. They are in for a shock, from the first bell.

"I will be coming home with that belt and they can do what they like after that."
