Tyson warns Haye over Harrison's power

Mike Tyson has fired a warning to David Haye by hailing Audley Harrison's punching power ahead of the WBA heavyweight title fight on November 6.

Although Harrison has been portrayed as the underdog, even his fiercest critics have admitted that he can deliver a lusty blow to an opponent.

The former Olympic champion saved his career with a last-gasp left hook in his most recent clash against Michael Sprott - and Tyson insists that a similar punch could cause Haye serious problems.

"He's capable of hitting David with those punches, because David wasn't in there being no jackrabbit, jumping around, he's able to hit him with the punches," Tyson told Sky Sports News. "He's going to hit him, there's no doubt about that. He's going to hit him.

"I'm not saying he's going to beat him, but he's going to hit him. He's a southpaw [and] David's really susceptible to the right hand because he throws a lot of lefts. He puts his right hand up and leaves his left hand down."

Tyson also moved to downplay Haye's achievements in the heavyweight division so far - particularly his April defence against the veteran John Ruiz, who retired from the sport afterwards. "This [Haye v Ruiz] was a Don King fight - Don King used to dig them up from the grave to fight. They dead and he resurrect them."
