Froch fires warning shot to Johnson

Newly-crowned WBC supermiddleweight champion Carl Froch is relishing his Super Six semi-final clash with Glen Johnson, declaring that the "old fox won't get past my jab".
Froch avenged his April defeat to Mikkel Kessler by outpointing Arthur Abraham on Saturday night to reclaim the belt he held for 17 months.
'The Cobra' produced a masterful display of speed and power, using the jab perfectly to pick off his hard-hitting opponent from distance.
The Nottingham fighter's tactical game plan was a far cry from his usual all-action style, but the 33-year-old hinted that he may stick to the strategy that served him so well when he takes on veteran Johnson next year.
"Johnson is a wise old fox and I won't be taking him lightly. He's a great fighter but he won't get past my jab," he said in the Mirror.
