Haye restless waiting for Klitschko

David Haye says the only thing stopping him from entering the ring in 2013 is Vitali Klitschko's indecision, adding that time is running out for the fight to happen.

Haye's future in boxing has been up in the air for the last two years, with the heavyweight dropping regular hints about his retirement, only to carry on fighting.

Wladimir Klitschko called out Haye for a fight in 2011, calling his retirement talk 'lies'. Haye went on to lose to the Ukrainian by a unanimous decision but in July this year the 32-year-old knocked out Dereck Chisora in the fifth round of their fight at Upton Park.

Haye says a contract between himself and Wladimir's brother Vitali has been agreed upon but without a signature, the Briton has hinted he may have fought his last fight.

"It's no great secret that I want to knock out Vitali Klitschko in 2013," Haye wrote in The Evening Standard.

"The contract for the fight has been agreed and is there ready to sign. Were it simply up to me, I'd be training to fight right now.

"Nobody seems to know if Vitali wants to set foot again in the ring, let alone face somebody as dangerous as me.

"What I do know is that by this time next year I will either be a retired former world heavyweight champ or the new world heavyweight champ."
